Milan Šipka

Faculty of Agriculture, University of Banja Luka

Milan is a Senior Teaching Assistant for Soil Science (Pedology, Soil Amelioration, Applied Geographic Information Systems, and Remote Sensing in Agriculture) at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Banja Luka.

Milan holds an MA in Soil and Water Management from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Banja Luka in Soil. Currently working towards his doctoral degree in Soil and Water Management at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade.

He has attended professional development and specialist courses in the application of ICT in agriculture at major global university centres (such as Wageningen, BOKU, Barcelona, Lleida, and the like).

Milan has authored or co-authored 18 research papers, one book, two sets of teaching materials, and two manuals.

To date, he has served as an associate and co-ordinator on 23 international academic and research projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad, including initiatives funded by Horizon 2020, Erasmus+, FP7, FP6, Tempus, FAO, and IPA.
